WMC…..

Let me start by saying, I am not a House head, in fact the closest I get to listening to house, is when I am working out in the gym….and to be honest with my schedule that is few and far between….

So my business partner is a huge house DJ ( Darren Holland), so this year I thought I would enter his world….it was a good expeience!

Here comes the education bit….there are many different type of house music, and unfortunately I am not qualified to teach you all on the aspects of each type, just know that soulful house is a good introduction to house music, if its your first time listening to it….its easy to listen and will not give you that instant headache that some house music can create.

As I was a house virgin, I was instantly welcomed and it was a joy to see people dancing and actually enjoy music….

There were a few characters that I met along the way….trust me but the overall vibe was one of pure enjoyment and appreciation of the music that they were all there to listen to and enjoy.

I was blessed that I was able to host rooftop parties for the week I was there and next year will be happy to do so again.
I can honestly say that I learned something new whilst in Miami, not only about music, but about people too.
