21 Apr Brindisa… A taste of Spain
Following a visit to the Diva exhibition at the V&A in South Kensington, I discovered this delightful restaurant.
One of the standout dishes at Brindisa is undoubtedly the Croquetas de Jamón. These golden-brown bites of creamy goodness are filled with savoury ham and encased in a perfectly crisp exterior. Each bite is just tasty, making them a must-try for any visitor.
For seafood lovers, the Gambas al Ajillo is a true delight. The plump prawns are cooked to perfection in garlic-infused olive oil, creating an aromatic and flavorful dish. It’s a simple yet satisfying dish that pairs perfectly with the bread offered to soak up the juices … yummy.
No visit to Brindisa would be complete without indulging in their fabulous Patatas Bravas. Crispy potatoes are smothered in a spicy tomato sauce and topped with creamy aioli, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors that is simply irresistible. This is a signature dish in any tapas restaurant and is a must-try.
There wasn’t much to choose from for dessert – the Flan was lovely.
What truly sets Brindisa apart is its family-friendly vibe. The welcoming staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests of all ages feel at home. Whether dining with little ones or enjoying a meal with friends, Brindisa offers a relaxed and inviting atmosphere perfect for any occasion.
We were celebrating a birthday, but the restaurant was filled with family, and the atmosphere was super friendly.
Ever in SouthKensington, pop and let your tastebuds have an experience.
Until da next Tyme
