Cape Verde or Cabo Verde, officially the Republic of Cabo Verde, is an island country in the central Atlantic Ocean. The ten volcanic islands in its archipelago have a combined land area of about 4,033 square kilometres. The islands lie about 600 to 850 kilometres west of Cap-Vert which gave its name to the islands.

With beautiful views, beaches, and amazing fresh daily catch this little paradise is worth a visit. Staying at the Hilton Cabo Verde in Sal situated right on the beach, to enjoy the amazing sunset and the beautiful sea breeze …. it comes at a small price due to the mosquitoes ….

Walking around the small town the locals are friendly enjoy talking about their island and sharing some of its secrets. if the heat is too much, find a beach and some shades and relax watching the day go by  – my favourite spot is Angulos on the beach.

With plenty of bars available for nightlife, this is a small paradise on earth.
