So it has been 3 weeks since I landed in jamaica…….

Apart from mosquitoes raping me everyday, it’s has been awesome……

The weather is amazing, pushing 80degrees daily with the odd day of rain, before the sun emerging again.

Let me get the complaints out of the way first .

If you are use to things being done a certain way, then you need to leave that expectation on the plane…. Jamaicans work a different way.

“Don’t worry be happy” and “Soon Come”

Get use to those phrases as that is how the Jamaican mentality works, they are not in a hurry to do anything, everything is pretty laid back.

Trust me when I say that I am having an attitude expectation adjustment that I am finding challenging……..

Jamaicans customer service is crazy, they take 3 or 4 attempts to solve an issue than can be done in 1. Amazing!!

Overall, I have yet to hit the party scene, and I can imagine how interesting that will be.

I have been to 2 cute little places so far….
“Southbeach”a sports cafe kinda place with an upmarket restaurant built in, it has great potential with its own kind of decoration 😉

“The Pub”located at The Mayfair Hotel which is a great little hangout joint.

All in all my first 3 weeks has been interesting and I am looking forward to the next few weeks
