Hey there all,

So today is the day….. this evening I will be on a flight to Lagos 🙂 , I will be staying in Victoria Island which according to most people is the most affluent area in Nigeria.

I am naturally curious as you hear so much negativity about the place that I want to see for myself what its all about.

Don’t get me wrong I believe that like every country in the world it will have its ups and downs and the negative side will always be portrayed to the Western World , and I am not naive to think that its all a bed of roses and as with any of my travel  I  must be alert and cautious as that is a given when visiting a new country….. or even a new City on the UK

However as with anything in this world before I start giving negative comments, I want to experience it myself and then I cam give honest and true feedback on my experience.
