Hey peeps ,

What’s up?

Once again I am back in travel mode and heading to jamaica with my girlfriends, so we thought to break up the trip and stop off in Miami for a couple of days…..

As an avid visitor to South Beach, I was invited to stay at a friends condo in the financial district…..

But before we head there, lets start with Miami international airport …. Omg…. Don’t wear heels, as its like a cross country marathon from the plane to customs…….people I am serious it was ridiculous……..we walked, and walked and then walked some more ….. I actually had a party with myself when I saw the customs line….. I needed a hotel room afterwards.

So a truck cab later we are in downtown Miami and the views are amazing, our friends condo on the 26th floor was just awesome…..

So with bags down it was time for food and drink……well let me just say Americans don’t know where they live…. No one knew where we could find food ……r u kidding me??.

As South london girls, we represented, our sense of direction kicked in and we found Gordon’s restaurant, and our sever Micheal…….now he wasn’t as welcoming as he should have been, but with 3 gorgeous ladies, he wasn’t like that for long 😉

So, 3 mojitos later, seafood and a dessert to die for, it was time to sleep to face the next day!

Ok MetroMovers….. People remember this, it’s free shuttle transport in the city…..london need to fix up.

You literally hop on an off, it’s awesome….. Bayside Markertplace is a selection of shops overlooking the marina….it’s a place to chill people watch , shop and enjoy some good seafood…..lets not forget, it has an awesome Mojito Bar

We left the bar with lighter heads and steps than when we arrived 😉

Spending 48 hours in Miami was perfect, it was just preparation for the next leg of our journey…….Jamaica we soon come!
